Julie

October 22, 2008

I just love sessions with Julie!  You may remember Julie and Jonathan’s engagement session from a while back.  From the moment I met with Julie and her mom, I knew they were going to be a blast!  We started Julie’s session in a mini-field somewhere off Airline Drive.  One of those places you really need to bring a machete to.  Haha.  I love when a bride just trusts me!  Anyways, we then headed to Centenary’s campus and then downtown Shreveport, really so I could play around with the night light, or lack thereof.

Julie, you make a beautiful bride and I hope you love your images!  I am so looking forward to the wedding next month!!

This is one of my faves!!

Her bouquet was so pretty

Julie’s sis is such a goof!

This one was one of my faves.  I slowed my shutter down LOW and used on camera flash.  Then added a little Adobe magic :)

Julie’s sister and mom.  They kept the party going!  Love you guys!

Stacy

September 21, 2008

This girl worked it!  I always have so much fun working with clients that feel comfortable and free to explore in front of the camera!  And Stacey was definitely one of those people!  We started at the church she will be getting married at and then walked around town.  I had the idea to use a parking garage, which I’d never done before, and we got some sweet images.  The sun was at just the right spot at just the right time of the day!

Perfect time + Perfect light = SWEET IMAGES!!

We even found a red elevator that was too cool!  Stacey, I hope you enjoy your images as much as I do and I cannot wait for the ceremony!!

Courtney

June 17, 2008

Shooting Courtney’s session was a blast!  We tried some new places downtown, and then afterwards, they brought me to a friend’s field out in Princeton for some outdoors stuff.  We got some cool shots!  It was rediculously hot, but luckily Courtney brought along her little fan.  She even had her wonderful friends blow it under her dress!  What great friends!!  Thank you Courtney for being so patient with everything that’s been going on this past week!  You are a beautiful bride Courtney and I hope you enjoy your images!!

Holly

May 23, 2008

I had so much fun shooting Holly!  She brought two of her friends with her and we had so much fun trying to get her to look “serious.”  Holly didn’t think she could do the “no-smile” look, but we got a few :) .  Holly went to Centenary, so we started on the campus and then went downtown.  This was another shoot that I didn’t use any previous spots for!  They came out great.  I think my favorite one is the last one.  That background was a lucky find….I saw it when we parked, but there was a vehicle parked in front of it.  Luckily, after we walked around, we came back and they were leaving!  Woo-hoo!  I was so excited…I loved the colors!

You did awesome Holly!  I can’t wait for the wedding :)

Yup…that’s her real eye color!  Arggg…

Megan’s Bridals

May 6, 2008

This shoot was so much fun!  Megan was such a trooper!  She was willing to go anywhere I asked her to.  I love it when a bride is not scared about messing up the dress!  And the funny thing is, usually those dresses stay the cleanest…crazy huh?  I had her on the ground, in the woods, next to the dumpster…you name it and we were there.  We got some cool shots though!  I even snagged one of her mom fluffing the veil.  I’m really trying to get out of my box and try new places.  I think there was only one place we did that I had already been to and all the others were first timers!  My favorite is the one in all the tree limbs.  Megan looks absolutely beautiful in all these photos!  Chris is not going to know what to do on their wedding day!!

Thanks Megan for an awesome session!  Enjoy :)

Wendy

April 22, 2008

I asked my friend Wendy to model for me this past week.  I have an ad due for the Weddings With Style Magazine that I am working on, and I’m planning on using some images from this session for the ad.  Wendy did great!  We had so much fun going all around town.  Here are a few of my favorites.  Once I finish the ad, I will post it, also!

Anna’s Bridals

November 15, 2007

I had so much fun photographing Anna.  We met through Jamie Perdue (now Marino) when I asked Anna to model for me.  She is so easy to photograph and obviously takes gorgeous pictures.  We had fun going to all our different locations.  I loved the tractor in the middle of the field we were in, so we used it!
