Megan and Coleman

Man was it HOT when I took Megan and Coleman’s pictures!  We had a lot of fun though and they did great!  They communicated with each other well and it made it easy for me to capture them just being “together!”  These were my favorites and I hope you enjoy!

 

 

Kelly and Jerrod

I had such a great time photographing Kelly and her fiance, Jerrod.  We started downtown at the location Jerrod proposed (at the riverfront)!  From there, we headed more downtown towards the buildings.  We got a lot of backgrounds!  Kelly and Jerrod both work in the oil field, so they requested a shot next to a statue that was based on a worker in the oil field.  Their wedding is next year…a little while to wait…but it will be awesome!  Here are my faves…

Bree and Nick

They’re finally here!!  It’s been so crazy busy over here, but I finally got to post my faves from Bree and Nick’s engagement session!  Bree was so funny about making sure Nick felt comfortable during the session, and what do you know?…Nick was more calm than Bree!  Haha.  We’d go for the “serious” shots, and she’d start cracking up.  I got a few of her loosing character  I traveled to Minden for the session, which I believe is where they will be buying a house, and we did the entire session there.  I had a lot of fun shooting somewhere I had never been before!  I love those challenges!!  We started at Nick’s Great Aunt’s ranch, which was beautiful by the way, and then went to downtown Minden.  We all seriously got eaten by ants and mosquitoes, but I think the shots were worth it

I had a really hard time choosing my favorites, as you will see.  I didn’t even post one from every spot we went to because there were so many (that’s so many spots and good shots!).  I think my favorites are #7, #8, and #14.  Anyways, here they are.  Enjoy!!  Oh, and thank you for dinner guys, it was great!

Jana and Chase

Well I’ve known Jana for a little while now.  She’s my sister-in-law’s best friend.  She is a hoot! (I think that’s how you spell it?)  And, man can she sing!  Anyways, I had the pleasure of taking her and Chase’s engagement pictures a couple of weeks ago.  We were all over downtown and got some fun new backgrounds.  My absolute favorite is the last one!

Meagan and Chris

This session was a lot of fun!  Chris has a deer lease by Dogwood that is HUGE!  I followed them out there and I didn’t think we were ever gonna stop driving!  I don’t hunt, but I sure would be his buddy if I did  We had fun running around getting pictures.  We even saw an alligator!  I think we spooked him so I didn’t get too good of a shot.  When we got done there, we headed downtown.  Oh, and the coolest thing is their precious little girl was born on the SAME day as Broox…August 24th!  How crazy is that?!  Here are my faves:

  

 

Kelly and Trey

 

Wow…what a great couple!  Kelly is absolutely adorable!  I met Kelly at the Bridal Fair and was so excited to learn that I would get to photograph her wedding!  Her and Trey are too cute together.  As you can see, Trey has a little musical side, so he serenaded Kelly while she danced around  It was so incredibly windy, but luckily we had the session before the time changed so we got an awesome sunset towards the end!  Kelly and Trey…you guys rock!  These are my faves…

 

 

  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicole and Paul

I had the awesome privilege of photographing Paul and Nicole this past weekend.  Paul is my awesome cousin from the big town of Ville Platte down in south Louisiana!  Their wedding is in May.  I had so much fun with both of them!  We went to a few new locations I found just driving around.  My faves are the first and the third to last.  I’m loving shooting into the sun…it’s my new favorite thing!  Oh, and we had to get a fun group shot at the end.  Don’t you think that angle makes me look thin?  ;)
